Usage Reports

Hope you had a good Christmas/New Year.  I'm currently trying to work out my Hotspot sales for last month, and it's quite a task.  Is there any plans for monthly report?  Currently I'm have to use "manage tickets" to find expired or started tickets, then search through the "session history" to see when they were used.

Would you like a per ticket history?

Rather per Hotspot reporting.  ie How many tickets of each access profile, were sold at each Hotspot location, for a given period (eg December). 

Here is an example of an export I get from a "hotspot in a box" Zyxel G-4100.  Tickets are generated and printed as needed.

There are some columns here that are not applicable (Serial number, Created & Sales Type) and additional columns need for certain types of access profiles (time remaining).

This looks like you might need some more columns in the ticket management, don't you?
I can add start date, and total used time or volume quite easily. What more?

It will be interesting to know if clients use tickets in several wifi devices.

mac addresses will be displayed in the future hotspot history. You will be able to display a ticket history also.

Probably not search on date started, rather sort by location and date started.

Basically I want to find all tickets used at a single location, sorted by date started.  Similar to the session history, but without the full connection history for each ticket.

I already did the start date display.

But the start date sorting need a database structural change. I will do this later if you don't mind. I have to finish this online billing stuff.

Today you can select an access profile. If you have 1 profile per location, it is ok. But It will be harder to tell you on which hotspot the ticket was started if the access profile is valid on multiple hotspots.
