I want to propose a different way to set up a free wifi hotspot with ubiquiti devices (if you don't know ubiquiti visit
www.ubnt.com)
Ubiquiti APs have a quite good performance and they are a low cost solution to start implementing wifi zone.
So the easy scenario to adopt is:
1. Chillispot on ubiquiti (it's on AirOS look for the solution at
www.3ts.it) .if you need support to configure the ap for worldspot.net ask to me, but it is quite similar to ddwrt configuration but you don't need flash your AP you still mantain airos.
2. use worldspot.net to control you access.
