Do you have multiple ssid?
What interface did you choose in dhcp interface?

There are a lot of people complaining about dd-wrt v24's chillispot not working.
It seems that it might not run on all hardware platforms.

I've two problems.
the first is that i haven't connect the linksys router to modem (dlink dsl2640b) on wan port, i'll do it on lan.
the second is that i don't have a correct ip release from chillispot.

i'm working for resolve this.

i'm working on "Wireless Physical Interface wl0"

chillispot cannot work when connected on lan port, because of the associated network scripts.
You need some iptable configuration in order to make chillispot work.
DD-WRT and all other firmware assume internet come from the WAN ports.

You might want to look at chillispot documentation or sources for this script.

If you receive the ip, this is a good point.

Now recheck the DNS you entered in the chillispot config. Try the opendns servers is you are not sure.

Once configured, try to telnet/ssh to your router and check if the chilli process is running.
Also check if you have enough memory with the command: free

Hello

This means that your dns address is wrong in the chillispot settings. Please try an opendns server.
You might also check in the telnet/ssh that you can ping google.com

I'm glad it now almost works.

The message tells you that the ticket system is not free, and you need to subscribe.
Please have a look in the pricing page.
If you want to test the system, you have to modify your access class, as explained in the bottom of the pricing page.

I don't understand.

I make a hotspot. the name is "ordinevallo".
I select "Offer this access for free" for this hotspot.
I create a ticket "name" "password" and I flag "Multiple usage ticket:"

can I give a access with password (and username) for free?

As explained in the pricing page, free hotspot means open to everybody.
Ticket service is not free even if you give the tickets for free.
Sorry for this misunderstanding.
