« on: September 29, 2007, 08:33:18 am »
Dear Worldspot

I config my hotspot at worldspot

On Manage access profiles

I set up

Upload rate limit in bit/s. (empty for unlimited) =128k

Download rate limit in bit/s. (empty for unlimited) = 256k

and create tickets

But when i test my ticket login and test speed

Local Thailand Download go on 650kb
and up 300 (i think)
http://speedtest.adslthailand.com/

But when i test Inter Download/Up 150/100
http://us.mcafee.com/root/speedometer/default.asp

I ok with inter speed test but local speed test it 's not ok.

What I do wrong?

How to set up, please advice me.

Thanks forward.

You should use your own bandwidth testing method.
Can you please tell more about your hotspot hardware and firmware?
Please also give your hotspot name and ticket name used for the test.

Thanks

I see nothing wrong, maybe you should make your own test by downloading a big file from a fast server, and uploading to the same fast server.
Make sure you get reproductible results also.
You may also use windows task manager to display the bandwidth, as files sometime are uncompressed by the browser.
