Paypal seem to have released its new micropayment pricing which is adapted to low hotspot prices (< 12$ or 12euros) for all countries
With the link below, you can switch your existing paypal account to the new micropayment payment pricing: 5%+0.05 (instead of 2.9%+0.30)

Is paypal really working. I am new when it comes to it, and I too have my doubts regarding the security of our account and our means of transfer.

Paypal's only job is to handle the security.
If there were a security hole, I think this would be made public by the very large paypal user's community.

Please shade me some lights about paypal micropayment. I don't know much when it comes to it. I am relatively new to the system so i need every help i could get.Is it really that safe to use? Am I a hopeless case?

Paypal is a safe payment system.
Some people complains it is not easy for customers to pay.

About the micropayment, it is just the fee calculation method that changes:
5%+0.05 instead of 2.9%+0.30

When redirected to the Paypal payments page, the choices are:
1. Sign in as a Paypal member (Fine if you're a member)
2. Sign up with Paypal, (Create a Paypal account)
There is no option to use a CB/Visa/Mastercard
On Paypal buttons I created for another Hotspot, there is the option to pay by CB etc WITHOUT a paypal account.
This option isn't available with Worldspot and it's high time it was, as revenue is being lost.
I think it's a simple matter to obtain an alternative code from Paypal.

Worldspot is using paypal express checkout.
I will have to check if using buttons can be integrated.

I see that the main difference is that you don't have to enter an email + a password.
Is this really a problem?

In order to make this work, I think you also have to setup paypal IPN (instant payment notification).
I have to check how the integration can be done in a reliable way.

No, the difference is that you don't need a paypal account.
Paypal handles the CB/Mastercard/Visa payment WITHOUT the necessity and difficulty of opening a Paypal account.
THAT makes ALL the difference.

Can you please tell more about the difficulty of opening a paypal account?

Opening a Paypal account takes time as it involves Paypal debiting a small payment, then the user must consult his bank statement and obtain a code to re-enter into the Paypal website. This process can take days/weeks, as the code often doesn't appear on the bank statement. All in all it's not a simple matter to set up a Paypal account. In my case it took 6 months, and numerous phone calls to USA and to Dublin to try to convince Paypal that the code just never appeared on my bank statement.
So, as I say Paypal WILL handle payments from NON-MEMBERS, you just have to get directed to the correct PP page.

Isn't it the paypal verification process that you are describing?
I thought this was optional, and you can make payments without a verified paypal account.

I have some of my paypal accounts that are not verified.

Anyway, I will have a closer look on the integration of paypal buttons.

As far as I understand you cannot make a payment with Paypal until you have gone through the initial verification process.
As far as I remember, there are several levels of verification, but even the first one is NOT instant, therefore a user without a Paypal account cannot buy hotspot access online there and then.

Ok, I didn't know this was such a pain.
I'll ask about this to paypal.
I think this is not normal.

I will check the integration and see if it is possible to have subscriptions at the same time.
