How to delete a hotspot?
« on: May 07, 2012, 11:17:20 pm »
Hello,
How do I delete a hotspot from my account? I can only see links to create a new hotspot or configure an existing hotspot.
Thanks!

In hotspot configuration, there is a delete button.

Thanks.  I see the button now.

If I delete the hotspot when logged in as sub-account user... will it delete the hotspot from the master account, too?

Or will it only delete the hotsport from the sub-account users's account, and leave the hotspot still active and working in the master account?

Thanks.

Looks like it will also destroy parent hotspot.

This will be corrected (not to be allowed to destroy it)

Thanks for reporting.

Hello,
I do not think this is a bug.
We can "remove" the hotspot from the sub-account by editing the sub-account options...
I just wanted to clarify how it works, so that there is no possible confusion or accidental delete of the hotspot.  :
So.. to fix.. you could add a new flag or association in the database about what user was the original creator of the hotspot.  Then only allow that user to delete the hotspot.
Then you can add a message (if sub-account user tries to delete the hotspot) that this hotspot can't be deleted except by the parent/owner (original creator) of the hotspot.
Thanks!
