How to use Worldspot autentication on desktop pc
« on: June 11, 2013, 03:44:07 am »
Hi, I am interested in the following:

"In the Windows logon page, ticket duration is handled, your user will be disconnected automatically when his time is over." -Taken from a previous thread.

Is it also possible to disable some settings like Control Panel, etc. with this software.

Thanks,

Claude

I don't think it disables the control panel.

I have very little experience with this software.

"If you are interested in this, please contact me so I can send you the modified radius plugin."

So, do you mind sending me a copy?

I can't find this piece of code anymore and it is probably outdated.
You could try to install and setup pGina and its radius plugin.

I would recommend that you use a linux kiosk distribution which only shows a web browser that you use on worldspot public hotspot network.

porteus kiosk edition is an exemple (that I haven't tested, but it looks good)

There also exist some kiosk extensions to firefox.
