How to setup Chillispot on DD-WRT
« on: July 29, 2009, 11:00:28 pm »
 :D

http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Chillispot

2009-07-29: The Wiki article has been greatly edited/improved.  ;)

It should be easy now for new users with basic DD-WRT skills (flashing, navigating web interface) to add Chillispot.

The MTU bug fix is fully added.
The fix for the problem with chilli working then not working after a period of time, is added, and included as part of the configuration steps.  :o

The article has been updated again. Especially helpful topics about how to reduce the memory usage on the router.

I am using a Linksys E2500 flashed successfully with DD-WRT, I have followed the all the instructions on your site but it is just not working . I am browsing through it now.
Is it still supported at all? I mean in any form

chillispot support in dd-wrt is quite bad.
If you look at this forum, almost all problems are on dd-wrt.

I'd strongly recommend you to use a worldspot firmware compatible router.

I have now used the firmware but its not that straight forward. your documentation is poor. Can you please provide a simple HOW-TO based on everyday Hotspot operations

Thanks

Hi

What everyday operation would you need?
